Impossible to predict for me. As has been pointed out, derby games are notorious for producing upsets. But what would constitute an upset here? Neither team is in particularly good form right now: there's only two points between them and a case could be made for either team nicking the points.

On Cardiff's side, there is home advantage. There is a referee who doesn't trouble to hide his dislike of us (not making excuses, it's true). Cardiff play in a way that historically we have found it difficult to deal with. The dressing room and playing influence of Bellamy who will get your team up for this.

On Swansea's side there is more Premier League experience. Man for man I honestly believe that we have better players (which is not to say the Cardiff lads are poor). I also think that if both teams were able to produce their BEST game on the day, we would win; and our possession style could well stifle Cardiff's game if we get on top. If......

That said, I believe that the game is too finely balanced to predict. One stroke of brilliance or one bad mistake could swing the result either way... or it might come down to who wants it more on the day. It's the sort of game that I believe we should win but I'll be far from unhappy with a draw.

Whatever, if one team does win it, I hope it's deserved and not the result of a crap decision or something similar. And my abiding hope is that BOTH sets of fans will behave themselves and turn this game into an experience that will show the world that club football in Wales is thriving and exciting.

He will need to be strong. I expect plenty of rolling around and faking injuries by your lot Sunday.

 

And I expect your keeper to be picking the ball out of the back of his net on a couple of occasions. Just hope it's more than ours

 

If that happens I hope we don't kick the ball out of play.

If Cardiff score first, I think they will win as we will struggle to break them down - as was the case against West Ham.

If we score first, then I think that Cardiff will leave gaps at the back for us to take advantage of, and we could nick another.

Bloody hell Mikra, is this your version of Swansea v Cardiff?

 

A minimum of 3 times a year we play the unmentionables. This clip is from the cup last season. You CArdiff boys can actually spot Cornelius playing....

The others were very proud as they won their first game with FC København in 3 or 4 seasons...

I think we will nick it 2-1 but it may well be 2-2.

Cardiff will surely score from a corner but surely Marshall cant keep up his shot stopping form and Bony and Michu to get the goals. Chico guaranteed to get a yellow with that berk reffing! I just hope its a of a game.

 

1. Swansea's long slump in the league continued again last week suggesting they are really about a 14th to 15th placed team and no more.
2. Swansea players are hit and miss. No real heart. (Shelvey and Bono as prime examples)
3. We are playing in Cardiffff.
4. Our players will never give it up and Swansea struggle against real pressure.
5. Malky will decide it is time to go for a win and not a draw (This one may be stretching it).

 

One game in this league is like any other and it does not matter who you take three points from really. We used to play fancy football under Jones and got beat with a sloppy defence but now its all about hard work and effort.

We have players who can score against any team, we also have a few flair players and a few class players.

The team has done well and as the teams we played found out not that easy to beat.


Winning the Championship was a much bigger achievement than reaching the FA cup final, we are in the premiership as champions by right now.

The game on Sunday will be no harder than the games we already played and we got points from those.

Hopefully every fan from both sides will enjoy the game and congratulate the winning side if there is one. Great to have this derby so let us welcome Swansea for an historic occasion for both of us.
