Watched Villa lose 2-0 to Spurs yesterday and wasn't impressed. They never looked like scoring and could have lost by 3 or 4. I think I'll go back and look at our draw at the Lane again! OTBC!

If either of Holty's headers at Stamford Bridge had nestled in the corner instead of narrowly missing, he would now be among the top scorers in the Premier League according to the BBC's top scorer table. True he would be sharing that distinction with 22 others, 10 of whom would have scored more than Holty's (and the other twelve's) three goals but, no matter, Holty's on his way and we ******* love him! <cheers>

We'll win a game at some point Holt's scoring at least he'll get a lot more sharper soon if given the chance, the midfield needs to wake up a bit and defence need to go back to the performances against QPR, West Ham and Spurs. It's early days still so we need to chill out and be patient support the lads.

I've got a good feeling about Holt.He is the sort of player that needs the goals to go in but once they do he seems capable of regularly coming up with the kind of finish we saw at Stamford Bridge. And to me that's the key to it all, Premiership defenders are going to be scared of him again having seen what he is capable of and we won't encounter teams like Chelsea every week.

When we start meeting the Readings,Southamptons,Villas,Swanseas and Wigans we should start to get a few wins. And we are not out of touch in that bottom 6.My own feelings are that Swansea are a team in trouble. They seem to be emulating Wolves from last year, two great wins and then nothing.

Ahem, not too sure if little Poppy will be too happy being called a "strapping fella" to be honest, but I get where you're coming from ;)

Loving every minute mate, three and a half weeks in and I fall even further in love with her every day! This being back at work lark rather sucks though :(
