Sounds like West Ham well and truly parked the bus at Chelsea tonight to nick a point. It will be interesting to see what they do on the weekend. They have to have a go at us - dont they!
man city will pull away shortly i can see it now. Chelsea are not as good this time around as the last time the special one was there. for me i think the prem will end like this.... Man city Arsenal chelsea liverpool everton man utd Swansea 12th or 13th fulham cardiff sunderland West ham and Norwich could also be in serious contention...
There's only so many games left that they feel they can win and we must be one of them....at home....they'll have a go at least. Allardyce gave Carroll his first league start tonight and took him off after about an hour....tuning him up for us on Saturday. Their best chance of scoring is in the air. For that reason I'd start Taylor at LB to cut the crosses down and shut Downing down. Their defence is well shaky, especially at CB. If they give it a go I think we've got a very good chance of winning and winning well. I do expect them to try and kick us off the park though and for the referee to let them, we'll probably end up with more bookings for complaining about it...seems par for the course with the refereeing of our games. We play well we win. No injuries and some more minutes for Shelvey, Pablo, De Guzman and Dyer would be perfect ahead of the derby.
Too soon to write Cardiff off. Kenwyne Jones is experienced and good in the air. With Noone and Wittingham feeding him (both excellent crossers of the ball and better than anyone we have at it) and Campbell sniffing the knockdowns, they just might pick up enough points to survive.
Anyone from 10 down can get relegated at the end of the day but if you split the possibles against the probables then we fall into the possible category and cardiff fall into the probable category......We have a virtual extra point with our goal difference while cardiff have the worst goal difference in the premiership...
