Ancelotti was consistent, which is what wins titles - when they started out hot a couple of seasons ago their momentum tailed off and he was promptly sacked when, frankly, he;d done enough to earn a third season.
Yes,you're right he had done enough to win a third season hadn't he? He won the double and then nothing so that means RDM will probably be out if he wins nothing this season so AVB should really be happy he's no longer at Chelsea. Lawro rates him and he was a big name in Portugal which is what we need at Spurs. I have never been more confused and uncertain in 32 years of following this club.
