Yep, I'm glad he's gone, complete moron. His behaviour against Arsenal at SJP was a disgrace, could have cost us a pen and the game (ball was still in play when he dragged Gervinho up).

My main gripe with Barton is he is intelligent and articulate but doesnt go that extra mile.

He will throw in a delightful quote but wont expand upon it, he has the balls to batter somebody half to death but he doesnt have the balls to be unique or interesting in a post-match interview.

If i was a footballer i would use every post game speech as a platform for positive action, for eloquence and for comedy.

For example first interview, every question aksed give a one word answer and smile inanely.

The next time give an overly long and pretentious, grandiloquent, ostentatious, sesquipedalian and polysyllabic diatribe about how it doesnt matter on the result, it doesnt matter about who scored or if the weather is nice or anything else apart from the ball swirling round the netting in a pleasing manner.

The next interview repeat the interviewers questions back to them like a primary school pisstake.

The next time i would talk about how the major big three political parties are controlled at the highest level and funded by the same business interests behind the scenes etc

Why do people not have any fun with it??? why does nobody have the balls to be original and take a risk??

If you have the guts to smash somebodys face in have the guts to be jovial.

We were all calling for him to be in the England squad (Well not calling, merely pointing out he deserved to be)

    Enough said on that subject
