I'm sure there was a programme that got MPs to live the lives of struggling single mums and such like, Portillo was in it.

Him and Ken Clarke are the type of leaders we need, right wing mixed with common sense, humility and humanity.

Ken Clarke, like David Cameron, belongs to the Europhile left wing of the Tory Party

They are both unsuited to be in charge of the country

He misses Thatcher. Sure he hated her but he has to admire her consistency unlike the present bunch of U-turners

Portillo and Clarke are idiots, **** having them in charge of anything.

Ideally, I'd want a Labour/Greens coalition (which will never happen I know :(). At the moment I'm still undecided, but definitely not Ed Milliband or Balls. It's a shame David Milliband ****ed up so much.

What the **** has any of this got to so with reality tv. What I wanna know is who would have liked to go on BB or such like and how weird would you have been.

I considered applying for come dine with me. I had one of the researchers call my office to see I knew anyone who would be interested. I just don't have a dining room and have two lounges instead so didn't think I'd be a good fit for the show. Two friends of mine went on the show last year. The one lad dressed up as a roman soldier and served food in the shape of nice and was a complete **** to everyone.

I would have thought Dave Milliband represented everything that old labour hate about new labour.

I thought Big Brother ended a few years back?

I quite liked that desert island one, not Castaways up in Scotland, Taransay I think, but the other one. It was a bit lord of the flies, I think they only did one series.

Otherwise, Celebrity Love Island. I know I'm not a celebrity as such but lying around in luxury on a Thai island with no penalties whatsoever and beer, fanny and food on tap appeals quite a bit.
