He totally ****ed it up in his inability to MANAGE a group of players, get the best out of them for one season and then mould the team to his liking.

Wake up you silly prick.

Even he has said that he has learnt from his mistakes at Chelsea...

He's even ****ed off half your squad, sold two of your most dynamic players and replaced them with two from Fulham, ****ed up on the Moutinho deal and the only real striker of note that has signed in the last week is Jermaine Defoe.

Yes, I did, I do not deny that.

But he was never going to get anywhere whilst the mad Russian allowed the lunatics to run the asylum. That's my point.

I also called RDM the "players' mate-manager." That is an expression that I have used on several occasions, and I stick by it.

But being the players' mate isn't going to save him in the long-run.

I honestly do not know if AVB would have been good for you in the long, any more than I know if he'll be good for us, but I'm betting that he won't be a 5hite for us as he was for you. Please don't beat me up on that point. It doesn't make me a hypocrite, merely a realist.
 
Whether AVB or RDM is a better overall manager isn't the point. AVB had poor man-management skills and foolishly tried to take on the media which is due to either arrogance, inexperience or a combination of both. RDM was better on that front and therefore this lead to no more player bust-ups or dressing room unrest. Had we held on to AVB we would have probably finished trophyless and outside the top four. You won't find a single right minded Chelsea fan who would substitute what happened last season with a scenario that would have meant we kept AVB.

Guardiola has proved himself no more than RDM has. Guardiola inherited one of the best teams to ever exist which also happened to contain one of the best players to ever exist. He knew Ronaldinho's ego issues were too much of a problem to deal with and rightly got rid of him. He was a former Barca player who came through their ranks and a very successful one at that so he was always going to demand respect and support from the players and fans. it was the correct move by Barcelona to employ him, but his club heritage and man management were the only actual contributions which he needed to provide. The team picked itself, it's own players, it's own substitutes, it's own formation, it's own tactics and it's own style. Guardiola's input in those areas was minimal. His biggest signing was a shit one which saw one of their greatest ever strikers depart the club.

Anyway I strongly believe that RDM will be much more successful with Chelsea than AVB will be for 5pu1s and the reasoning is my initial point.
 
By the way, I believe that Eden Hazard has been the best signing of this window. Great player.

To be honest, I get the idea that RDM as of yet isn't proven, and still has a lot to prove, but frankly, one lost game doesn't mean he's been found out. However, a string of horrendous losses under AVB did show him up, but RDM has not had a bad run of form yet (ableit he hasn't managed enough). You can't judge them on different criteria mate. <ok>
 
Pleased to see the world is still here this morning, except Liverpool which has again been passed by.
However, so are our weaknesses.
Too slow from midfield, poor service to our striker, overconfidence, lack of cohesion, lack of passion, cannot hold the ball.
We are desperate for a controling midfielder . Lamps is absolutely past it as the main man and CANNOT ever start with Mikel, together they are like disc brakes on a billy cart. We have too many "run around" midfielders and not enough formation. No one is tracking back, and our defenders are paying the price.Torres cannot possibly perform with this style of play, he's no Drogba.
A serious rethink is needed on team selection and maybe we should think/try something other than 1 up front.
This is however exactly what was going to happen with so many new boys, so no slashing of wrists, just lots of work.
We need to make Cahill the captain whenever Terry is not playing.

Your lad Hazard has hit the ground running, Cahill is looking class, you're playing to Torres strength now so you won't miss Drogba, its looking good for Chelsea.

I don't think you turned up for this game, and you got undone by a good side with, imo, the best player around at the moment.

Right I seriously doubt they didnt take the game seriously. One thing about Chelsea since the Mourniho days is you take everything seriously so that excuse doesnt wash at all.

What sort of manager and what type of players knowing they have paying fans watching turn up to a game, a European final no less ( albeit minor ) and dont put the effort in?

Consider this, they got ****ing paid for last night.

Take the criticism, a lot of us have been saying this chelsea side is anything but amazing. Great top line but that is it. Weak GK, defence and midfield isnt much either. My club has the defence problems but we have a solution. I dont think Chelsea do right now.

If you dont care so much Chelsea fans, why getting all wound up about it? You clearly do and the result was a big slap in the face after you were all getting a little over confident.
