Bitter experience has shown me I'm normally not right, and I disagree with you both, so I guess we can assume you're both right! Yay!
Thought the article was a good fair assessment of the coming season ,after reading some of the comments during last season after one bad game (dont think we lost two on the trot ) i dread to think how some so called fans will react when we could loose 3 in a row easily at any time ,the abuse fans gave individual players after one indiferent game was unreal and at times embarassing ,i will be more than happy if we just survive this coming season ,my prediction also is Guly will be the star of the premiership for us ,rate lallana but goes missing a lot in games but fans tend to forgive him Why ? Fans need to get behind all the team this season more than last and the Boo boys should be shouted down by the real fans , hold on to your hats lads think it will be a bumpy ride
Agreed. However, what the hell will we be aiming for next when we have a good season again and finish second for the third season in a row?
we have all beside dicks that moan and bitch - even when we are winning. Did not realise that teams that stayed up lost basically 50% of thier games, now that will screw up NA win ratio
The other stat that has to be considered, most teams out of the top 6 had a top scorer with around 10 goals. i´m sure rickie will be looking for at least 20.
The reality may well be a little harsher, but nothing wrong with enjoying the dream during pre-season.
Adkins knows that accepting reality will not make you play better, whereas believing you can win every game will probably get you a few extra points. He gets the team full of confidence...this may be tested this season, but better than being defeated before you start.
Agreed Fran. The more I listen to him and NC, the more my heart starts to out speak my head. They fill you with confidence and you start to think "well, maybe.."
And that's what get you in the end. 'It's not the despair, Laura. I can take the despair. It's the hope I can't stand'
