Kevin Doyle, although not a prolific goalscorer could be a decent shout even if only as a backup. For example if we had a strikeforce of Gyan, Doyle, Noble, *new striker* and if we also went for n'zogbia we have the option to play him, sess and henderson behind Gyan. Carlton Cole is a Kenwyne. On his day can be brilliant but that day comes every 10 games.

A big YES! to Pav (and Kranky - same package please Harry, as you don't seem to like them that much for some reason)

a big NO! to Bendtner: a has-been swollen headed fluffmeister - and what sort of wages would he expect? NO!

So that's a no then Myrtle? :) I thought the same of Bendtner until I read a post from an Arsenal fan yesterday, who claims that he's not arrogant at all. He went on to say that the guy is just super confident in his own ability and that he would be a good buy for us.

Of course, the Arsenal fan could be winding us up, wanting to get rid of him from his own club? :bandit:

Bendtner has been one of flops of the season mate and he'd no doubt expect high wages, no thank you squire.

Krancjar would be a fantastic signing, he's right footed for the left side, and i know we need balance, but his delivery with the left is excellent, i'd be delighted with him.

I also agree fully that although Pav's hit and miss, he IS a quality forward and would compliment Gyan, they could easily help eachother to 15 each, and that would place us well up the league.

Them 2, Samba, Danny Graham and Konchesky (he's not ****, he just went the wrong place at the wrong time), could all be brought in for a total spend around £26-30, ie the Bent money plus a few quid.

The players we hoped for when sitting 6th, they aren't as achievable now, we have to be realistic.

We don't need to tear a very decent squad to pieces, we just need to plug gaps, Samba would fettle the defensive problems in one swoop, i'd fancy him and Tina to form a very difficult to beat pairing, and have Titus as a great option as well.

Well we aint going to get anyone as good as Bent from the Premier leauge. Based on that I think Bruce will be looking foreign again.
Would love to see Remy or Gignac, but they only signed for Marseille last summer so can't see it.
Moussa sow is a good shout, Lyon are also overloaded with strikers, Any one of Lopez, Briand or Gomis would do me.
The German Leauge is full of big strikers. Arnautovic, Klose, Olic, Keisling, Petric, Lakic, Obasi, Ibisecvic, Mandzukic, Hunterlaar, Barrios and didn't big chris' source mention Podolski. Pretty much every German team has a big lad up top and i have probably missed a few ic's out.
