Going to be very difficult to get through this tie. We do have an advantage though in that we have played competitive football whereas Real have not. Still can't find out for definite whether the game is going to be on the TV or not. Been told The Holburn Bar upstairs is showing it but others have said that it will not be shown. Anyway Up The Dons!!
Would love to see us get a draw at the very least tomorrow night to give us a fighting chance to go through, but being honest can't see it happening.
Real Sociedad have a very talented team of players, but at least we won't have to contend with their French international "Antoine Griezmann" who is supposedly off to Atletico Madrid. please log in to view this image
I'm sure they will allow a pensioner in, as long as you stand at the end of the bar and don't argue with anyone.
We played some great stuff. When we went 2-1 up we had a go to get the third which would have left them panicking as to how to play it out. Unfortunately left us open at the back but I would much prefer my team go out going for it rather than accepting the 1-1 draw and going out meekly. Cracking game and good luck to Sociedad they are a really gifted team and their passing out of trouble was a joy to behold.
Yes I don't recall the last time I saw a poor Spanish side, The Dons got a bad draw, most of the other teams you would probably have beaten them. Here's hoping they played an ineligible player.
