I wouldnt rule many out just yet including Leeds, i think its to early to say but i could easily name 12 good sides fighting for top 6 finish
My feet are always on the ground when it comes to Hull City. But sometimes its nice to get excited for a change. The football we have played in some games of late is way above the standard we had even back in 2008. This team when it wants to can and will blow anyone in the league away. There has been enough of it sadly elsewhere, but its just one game and we have the perfect game coming up to get back on track.
I am excited about the way we are trying to play football at the minute but it doesn't mean we are going to win the league
I really do feel we have a massive chanve this season. Oh i know we shouldn't get carried away so early, but im basing this on the way we played against Bolton,Millwall and at Leeds. I know we got tonked at Liecester but at least we know it's in us to play devastating football. I don't blame Liecester fans for not understanding my optimism, because they didn't see what we can do. It's up to our management i suppose,to get the players believing in themselves. Sprinkle that with a little bit of luck,or even a lack of bad luck, and i see us as one of the favourites.
Actually no I haven't, so maybe I was a bit hasty judging them. Just had a quick google and I don't see anything that impressive. Best full backs in the League? Wayne Bridge is a has been, he's hardly played football for about 5 years. And Bruno the right back? I'd honestly much rather have Elmo and Dudgeon. There's a couple of decent players in there but no more than any other decent Championship side. I think we've done much better business. Also they lost one of their better players in Noone to Cardiff, so it's clear who he thinks are the better team.
Plan B... is what both Tigers & Foxes require for different reasons.... You need to work on a different formation now we have sussed your current one because no doubt other teams have noted how we sussed your current preferred one out and exploited it's weakness at will....As for our plan B, simples be a more cohesive on our travels.... good luck against the Posh
Early days yet but it does feel like the table is starting to take shape. About 15 teams could realistically challenge this season, among those I expect ourselves, Brighton, Blackpool, Blackburn, Leicester, Wolves, Boro, Cardiff and Bolton to be up there. Leeds and Forest could be the dark horses and there could be a suprise such as Udders up there too.
