I think they need reporting to the <what part of utter bollocks do you not get?> police.

That poor horse is well and truly dead and despite his continual flogging, there's nothing anyone can do for it now. His dignity, along with the Spurs fans on here who keep persisting with this non story - died a long time ago <rose>

Do they have flower shows in Madrid ?

Maybe they were inviting RVP to come and check out the Spanish equivalent of Charlie Dimmock's plump begonias <whistle>

while flogging it they were heard to say 'if you don't get up we'll beat you to death'.

Some showed the nag a yellow card for diving.

This is going to be an extremely embarrassing thread if he does go to Madrid, isn't it?
Not sure why that's been decided as his eventual destination, though.
Chelsea's strikeforce is looking a little depleted now and they could probably do with someone in the summer.
City will almost certainly want to replace Tevez, too.
Barca might even fancy him, if the price was right.

I guess we'll just have to see how it pans out.
He'll probably want to get it sorted pretty quickly though, with the Euros in mind.
Putting his future on hold until after the tournament would be disruptive all round.

Right, in order to be able to bury the corpse - lets agree there is a club right now negotiating with Arsenal and RVP - transfer price around £100m - wages to be > £250k per week.

    I'd sell.

I know that you all want to talk about Spurs, but this is the Arsenal board.
It's not the place for it.

...a horse that died as punishment for the sins of it's father? The religious extremist that is Hoddle belongs at THFC. He will have them relegated in 2 seasons :)

Piskie - as you spend half your time on our board it seems only polite for some of us to come here and help you understand the modern game - agents and all

The horse insists he hasn't even thought about it.

    Bin Laden supported Arsenal, FFS.
I think you've got us trumped on that front.

Bin Laden having once been an extremist negates Hoddle's extreme religious beliefs? I fail to follow your logic....because there is none.

The point, which you seem incapable of, or refuse to understand is, yes. If Real wanted Bale the there would almost certainly be a story in Marca. If wouldn't mean that they would get him, any more than it means they will get RVP. However, it would confirm, to those of us who know the way things work over here, that the interest was genuine - not some hack-made story to fill space, a la star mirror et al.

<doh> Of course it's a hack made up story. What part of RVP's statement

"Contrary to reports in Spain I have NEVER spoken to Marca newspaper and never gave any interview. Enjoy your day"

    do you not understand?

As I started the thread I think I can safely say that,it was never mentioned in the article that R.Madrid had spoken to RVP.I don't know where you all got this idea from.
All the article said was that R.Madrid were "interested in RVP".Looking at him as another option up front. As I also said most Madrid fans don't want RVP as they think reenforcements for other positions are more important. But I'm equally sure that if they did make a move RVP would certainly consider it,much like Harry and the England job,as both are very hard to turn down.

This was proved to be total bullshit, by the way.

  20. Agreed. The only thing we know is that RVP will not sign a new contract - either refusing to even discuss it, or refusing to sign it.

I would be totally amazed if he was an Arsenal player next year - unless we finish top 4.
