    Kompany exposed for the player he is last night I'm afraid. Big time Charlie in the Premier League but it was blatantly evident that he's out of his depth on the biggest stage. I know he has limited experience and one game doesn't tell the whole story but that game proves the truth is a far cry from where some people have put him in a list of best defenders. On another note, Yaya Toure is surely an unfair advantage! The guy reminds me of back in the 90's when we used to see Jonah Lomu smash his way past 6/7 players in eggball.

    Vidic still the best centre half on the planet for me and on that performance, Kompany isn't in his league, regardless of the opposition, some of the mistakes he made were schoolboy level.

    Normally I would rate Kompany very highly, he had a very poor game last night, Joe Hart was more than a little frustrated at Kompany, he's definitely responsible for one of the goals which he should have headed clear.
