Sometimes even before the game, just in case they can't find each other after the final whistle.

Whilst you have a point about Marcelo's defending, he is very effective going forward and Mo isn't the best at tracking back ... so your prognosis in many ways hinges on who controls the midfield because if Madrid have as much possession as I fear they might then Marcelo may spend the majority of his time in Liverpool's half without having to do too much defending... Isco, Kroos, Modric and Casimiro could end up playing keep it triangles ...

They invariably largely bypass the midfield though, the ball into the channel or over the top of the CBs is their prime weapon. If Real try and hold a high line, they’ll play straight into their hands.

The way to negate Liverpool’s prime threat is to sit deep and stifle them, whilst trying to play through their high press and expose their own defensive frailties.

I agree, we lack runners from midfield or someone who can pick a clever pass. Play deep so we can't run behind will mean we struggle a bit more, doesn't kill us but makes it more difficult.

I doubt Real’s ‘ego’ as a football club will allow them to play in the way that stands the best chance of beating you.

I have no doubt they’ll try and take you on ‘toe to toe’ and whilst I’d expect them to score, I think you’ll pick them off on the counter.

Real will have about 99% possession, which just means that Marcelo and whoever is playing RB for Real will be camped by Liverpools corner flag. Liverpool will win the ball back from time to time and Hendo will attempt to lump it into the corner where there is no full back and Salah/Mane will have a field day. On the 5th attempt of Hendo lumping it where he doesn't slice it/overhit for a Real throw in Liverpool will be in and score.

It does look set up for goals, I think they are capable of sticking a load on us and we're capable of the same. They are a team that will kick us and dive a lot I hope we keep strong mentaly and keep playing our game.

Their only real advantage is the fact that they’ve been in the final so often in recent years. The occasion is unlikely to get to them, and they have plenty of experience of lifting the trophy. Your lot could freeze on the day.

I don't think we'll freeze but think you're spot on about experience, they will manage the game and look to use everything to get into our heads. As well as them playing some great football they will also use the dark arts against us we have to keep our cool and importantly take our opportunities.

I know. Because you want to see Ronaldo take his top off and show off his rippling abs whilst he gets doused wet with champagne....you told us already.

I wouldn't 99.9% of the time. But if I went out on an all day bender anything could happen tbh.
