"All we have seemingly got out the relationship is them tapping"

The bottom line is could you imagine any other industry where two companies have some
business relationship, and one runs an effective sponsored campaign in the media to
acquire or unsettle key personnel working for the other ??

Joseph Swan and Nikola Tesla both had that kind of relationship with Thomas Edison...

    1. So only once in over a hundred odd years then.
    2. I assume you have documentary evidence of Edison doing that in the USA press of the time.

Edison was promoting himself as inventing the light bulb despite Swan patenting the filament a year prior and being defeated in court when he tried to sue Swan for patent infringement, with part of the settlement being Swan became Edison's partner.

So, yeah, when a business relationship can be compared to one with that patent thief/fraud/charlatan/crook Edison, it's not a good look...

You need a better analogy than that one, for what Madrid have done to Spurs this summer.

Its the latest thing you know, take the bone for a walk, you do get some strange looks, crossing the road each time you see another dog coming can be tricky, but it does everything you tell it to, its much cheaper, and you don't have to pick up its ****! :)

I think you guys have a decent relationship for loaning players out with both Swindon and ourselves (QPR) - we've both benefitted from Taarabt's initial loan (well, you would have if Harry had been more of a fan, and Modric hadn't been taking his place) and Walkers loan to us last time we were in the Championship, and hopefully we'll get Carrol ready for first team action for you this season.

A link with a club like Ajax or Sporting Lisbon would be any clubs fantasy, on an academy level - not so much through a player exchange, but if you could arrange a coaching exchange, and a way to share philosophies, I think you'd be in a fantastic position to out produce the likes of Man U, Villa and Leeds. And we'd then loan any kids to get them up to first team level!!
