If I remember correctly he was 100% gone this Summer no way would he be a Liverpool player was spouted by pretty much everyone including most of us, he's still here though. With regards to his value I disagree, we will value him as a player and bidding teams will have to meet that valuation I imagine the club will decide if he is worth less because of his behaviour but the figure will be set by Liverpool and not Suarez or Wenger. My figure would be around 70-80 million. You don't go giving away one of the best players in the world.

20 Million + Benzema seems like a fair offer to me. People seem to dismiss Benzema but this is a man who has been an automatic starter for Real Madrid for about 5 years now, to dismiss such a player + 20 million is astonishing imo. Also it's not as if he had no competition at Real for his spot.
He is without a doubt one of the best in the world and seems to be improving so with that in mind we have to make sure any deal is the absolute best for our club we may not get an opportunity like it again for some time. Saying that though Studge is shooting himself up in value and Coutinho looks a great prospect we need to protect those investments.
Hes still there because Real fans were very unhappy at the thought real were going to pay actual money for him. Real over pay when they can make their money back through marketing the player and their brand. They wont be able to do it with Suarez so will pay a lower fee. Hes a fantastic player but to consider him one of the best is pushing it, hes yet to show why that is the case. Hes in the same bracket as Bale imo, just without the marketability.

Madrid bought Benzema for 35 million and I see no reason why he would be worth less that that now. In fact he should be worth more than that as he is better now than back then and he is still only 25 years old. Liverpool fans clearly think the man is worth next to nothing to find such an offer to to be "miles off".
In football, players, fans, managers and owners all have short memories and are as shallow as puddles one day your a villan the next a hero it all depends what you do on that pitch. Your only as good as your last game is a famous saying. Your only as valuable as your last game could also be applied.
It's that we value Suarez so highly, like I said no slight on Benzema is intended and I imagine most if not all Liverpool fans would agree.
I think we may have a problem here, though. Imo, we may only have this one season to make the CL places and that is a tall order. If we don't, not only do I think Suarez will go but we might find a lot of people sniffing around Sturridge if he continues his great form.
