About three years ago 'rat' came into my local as a guest ale - due to popular demand it's never been off the bar since, an awesome session beer.
I got a couple of bottles of a plum porter in ASDA (other supermarkets are available) very nice indeed.The only good thing ever to have come out of Stoke. Steerage and Plum Porter are to die for.

Also like many of the Great Newsome beers, the Liquorice Lads Stout is very nice...

The imperial stout in the gold can was about £8 I think. Came in a 5 pack for £40. 15%! It’s proper smooth too, very dangerous drink.
And the honeycomb stout? That sounds interesting.

It was part of this box that was £40. Although I only paid £25 for it in the end.

Wow, that's great for 25 quid. Last Vault City I had was about £8 for their Buckie Bomb. That was "an experience"
The cherry mocha melt was a little disappointing. Maybe only in comparison to the others as the standard was so high. Truffle berry bliss was out of this world.
Am I the only one on here that doesn't like 'flavoured' beers? Mango this, chocolate that, **** that, stick to the beer taste. Or am I just totally uninitiated?
