Not tried it yet, but I was speaking to someone from Gemini Chocolate in Beverley the other day and they’re trying not to waste anything, so have started sending what’s left of their cacao beans to Brass Castle Brewery to be made into Bean To Brew IPA (5.7%)

I’ll be giving that a go at some point I think. (Think they sell it at the shop in Beverley)

That should be interesting. My over-riding view of Brass Castle is that their beers tend to be a little over-sweet (and I love sweet porters). Can't say I've tried much more than Bad Kitty and some other special edition kitty porter of theirs in White Hart though.

In other news I was advised by the guy stood next me at the bar that he buys Bad Kitty as he/it is vegan.

Furleys used to do some Brass Castle I think, but can’t remember the name.
I know what you mean about their sweetness though. I assume the chocolate one would be too.
Yeah I think all Brass Castle beers are vegan (as is all Gemini’s chocolate)

Brass Castle are (or at least used to be) all gluten free as well, I believe.
