Ollie said it. He also said Manning would feature in the Northampton game. I thought the back 3 did well enough yesterday apart from Ned's error which Smithies fixed. A clean sheet can't be bad.Thought Perch covered well behind Ned and Lynch when they were going into 50/50 ish challenges. Seems Hall could be out a while, and Caulker already has been, so think we need a new CB or 2 anyway.
We should have picked up John Terry over the summer.

................. I'll get me coat.

I love bashing on the fake hoops and their sad lot calling themselves supporters when they actually love the Scum <doh><laugh>

Always nice to get off to a positive start, you never know how crucial 3 points can be over the course of a season.

Pleased for Washington on a personal level, Darrah McAnthony (Peterborough's Chairman) has repeatedly stated on Twitter that Washington has taken a season to adjust everywhere and fires on all cylinders the following one. Didn't take a genius to work out how much more effective he was playing in a 2 as well.

Intrigued to see how we perform away from home now, and how Holloway balances the squad. If he's focusing on a high press then I'd expect our midfield to be rotated where appropriate, so it's good to have options in there. Agree with those who've stated that a CB and another hard working CF would be welcome additions.

We are ahead of Cardiff, which is my key objective for the season! If only because it will shut up the 'let's get Colin back' brigade. But also because they are Cardiff.

I hope we finish above Villa, simply because they gave emoloyment to that dickhead John Terry.

Well done to the lads, pleasantly surprised. Always thought scouting the opposition was a good idea.

More of the same please.
