Remember that Reading were Premier League last season and got two (undeserved) draws with us. They haven't fallen back that much and it shows how far we have come on. Roll on the next game!!

Nearly had a 4th at the end, great passing move resulting with a cross in the box which Bony missed my inches. Good workout against a team that will do well in the championship. At times they were chasing shadows but after 3-0 up we eased off. Strangely Bony and Ash played 90 mins.
easier than i thought.....Just one goal conceded in all our pre-season matches is very impressive....cardiff have let in 4 in just two games........
Shelvey is almost "a new Gerrard" the way he is playing at the moment.. Once again Brendan Rodgers has obviously overlooked player qualities. At Swansea it was Routledge and Davies and at Liverpool it was Shelvey.
Just got back in from the game, I can honestly post that Dilli wasn't pissed!!! Real good work out for the lads, Bony well he's going to be fcuking awesome this season, he's got the lot. Passing, strength on the ball, like a shot and lot's of tricks. Him and Michu look like they have played together for ages god i'm exited at the coming season. I had big reservations about signing Shelvey, how wrong I am. Ivor your going to love this lad, has a great pass and can TACKLE!!!!!!!!!
I told you shelvey would shine. I have been following this young lad ever since i saw him play for liverpool, I cant believe they have let him go tbh...he has the makings of a gerrard and i can see him playing for england sooner than later...
