Decent start
Steve McClaren will be happy with QPR team's bright start here thus far. Eze already seeing plenty of the ball in his 'number 10' tonight.

Another corner
Plenty of passing football leads to another R's corner, which again comes to nothing.

Villa 2 up against Preston
Brum 1 up at Brentford
Boro 2 up at Ipswich
Stoke leading Bolton 1 -0

This was so good it was posted 3 times on the match day centre.....

Cleared
Freeman's free-kick delivery from the left is comfortably cleared in the end by the hosts.

Two more attempts
Kelly's effort deflects up into the arms of Lumley while, at the other end, Freeman fires past the upright from outside the penalty area.

Blimey is this really the R's that the beeb are describing....

Reading 0-0 QPR

30 minutes gone here and the visitors look the more likely to grab a goal, they are piling on the pressure in the final third. But the Reading defence are holding firm and have dealt with everything QPR have had to throw at them so far.

Side-netting
Meite eventually battles his way past Lynch in the box before crashing an effort into the side-netting - albeit on the angle.

Inches away!
Another Freeman set-piece, this time an inswinger from the opposite flank, just evades Hoops skipper Leistner on six yards.

A great break and pass to Wells.

How did Wells not score.

Probably rates as a great save.

Close again!
Rangers break with real pace and, after Eze and Wells combine, the latter's low effort is repelled by home 'keeper Walker.

Best opportunity of the half, that.

It was a nice break and the shot looked better than it really was from the camera angle. It's been alright so far which is an improvement.
