Who the **** would choose Jake Bidwell to take a ****ing penalty!!? Clueless!
They didn't have a single attempt on goal in 2nd half........un-fecking-real we had 15, 3 on target and couldn't score.....
Clement is anti football
For clarity, apparently Bidwell is the designated penalty taker in Washington's absence and prior to tonight had a 100% success rate......
Yeh thought he should have pulled both Washington and Cousins before HT. In fairness Cousins looked a bit better after the break. Smyth was hardly in the game either till Smith came on, then Holloway took him off just after he finally had a decent shot saved.Waiting to get out the car park for the next few days it looks like.
Incredibly frustrating game considering we had 98% of the play and chances. Didn’t trouble Mannone enough but created countless chances. Penalty was stonewall but awful, awful execution.
All the performances were fairly average but thought Cousins again offered sod all. Freeman a bit greedy and generally we lacked a final ball. Looked much better with Smith than Wash. Honestly think we’d have won had Eze started. Says a lot about this league that they’re now very unlikely to go down.
Fans were great throughout. Reading are such utter mongs that their songs deserve their own thread. “Blue Army” was a personal favourite given their kit is 90% white. Basically Fulham fans without the money and plonked into a half-full bowl five miles away from anything.

Certainly agree about Washington. He's been given far too many chances, probably because of what we paid for him.If he was trying to put Cousins and Wash in a shop windows then our shop is about to go bust and get bought out by Mike Ashley for a tenner. Both have had loads of chances, both are senior players and both are frankly poor. Probably £30k a week in wages right there.
Perhaps we have given up training on penalties and he was rusty?
There was much gamesmanship before he took it and it clearly worked in Reading’s favour.

Doesn't appear so according to this...
