Need a lucky draw tomorrow s that Coopers plan for the semis isnt blown.....he has planned for us to play badly to put every other team off and when the time comes we will be brilliant.....just being positive....
Well, the Play Offs are effectively a mini-tournament and Tournament football is his forte (wow - I’ve given Cooper a positive: where’s Vetch when you need him .... ), so Brentford, Bournemouth and Barnsley had better Bware....
"Little do ye know your own blessedness; for to travel hopefully is a better thing than to arrive, and the true success is to labour."
I will be watching the game away from home wearing. a Swans sweatshirt and hoping it brings us luck....
Liam Cullen, Ben Cabango and Conor Hourihane all come into the Swansea City starting line-up for today’s meeting with Reading at the Madejski Stadium. Steve Cooper has made three changes from the midweek defeat to Queens Park Rangers for his 100th game in charge as Connor Roberts, Ryan Bennett and Korey Smith all drop to the bench. There is also a place among the substitutes for Andre Ayew following the hamstring injury he suffered against Wycombe. Freddie Woodman retains his place in goal, with Cabango coming into a back four also comprising Marc Guehi, Kyle Naughton and Jake Bidwell. Hourihane links up with Jay Fulton and captain Matt Grimes in midfield, while Wayne Routledge and Jamal Lowe will provide the width. They will operate either side of Cullen as the striker returns to the sight of his first senior Swansea goal. Reading: Rafael Cabral, Omar Richards, Liam Moore (captain), Andy Rinohmota, John Swift, Yakou Meite, Ovie Ejaria, Andy Yiadom, Lucas Joao, Josh Laurent, Tom Holmes. Substitutes: Luke Southwood, Tomas Esteves, Michael Olise, Sam Baldock, Lewis Gibson, Sone Aluko, Alfa Semedo, Dejan Tetek, George Puscas. Swansea City: Freddie Woodman; Kyle Naughton, Ben Cabango, Marc Guehi, Jake Bidwell; Jay Fulton, Matt Grimes (captain), Conor Hourihane; Wayne Routledge, Liam Cullen, Jamal Lowe. Substitutes: Ben Hamer, Ryan Bennett, Korey Smith, Andre Ayew, Morgan Whittaker, Yan Dhanda, Joel Latibeaudiere, Connor Roberts, Ollie Cooper. Referee: Simon Hooper
Good to see that the 3 attackers are all playing in their natural positions - when Ayew went off, we had 2 players playing in unfamiliar positions Cooper has stuck with 4 at the back
Attacking line up on paper, that is , lets wait and see ,hopefully a win and a restart of some momentum
