today was always going to be a counter attacking game, dont know why we didnt use our pace from the off i.e redmond, why does it take two goal to see the errors, Phelan should be experienced enough to make these changes before we let the goals in..
This is a fairly poor showing in my opinion. I would say Reading deserve their lead. Can't see us getting automatic promotion based on what I've seen so far this season,
Another good hit by Johnson. He certainly has got an appetite for goals now, and this could be his best goal-scoring season I believe.
Chances of autos over now then? Surely a long way back. Still just three points off the play-offs though.
Oh bugger, finally home from Xmas travels, disappointing result and more ground lost, but still modestly optimistic that we have some direction and are getting a little better. COYY let's make 2015 a memorable one! Merry Xmas and happy new year everyone, yes even JWM and the other resident binners! Bah!
A 10 point deficit in half a season isn't unsurmountable, stranger things have happened. 11 points in the 7 games since Phelan has joined isn't promotion form though, but it is a darn sight better than the preceding 10 games. We're 6th in the form table, and 4th of those around the playoffs. I don't think any of us can predict how this season will end, but I think we're going to need a strong January to stand a good chance of promotion. Hopefully we've stopped the rot at least, despite today's setback. Fingers crossed we can establish ourselves in the playoffs, with time left in the season to look further up.
