Hull City lodge complaint with EFL over Reading referee performance
Hull City have written to the FA to register their dissatisfaction with the performance of referee Gavin Ward in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Reading.
City's complaint to the authorities centres around Ward's decision not to give a penalty in the first half when Malcolm Ebiowei's cross hit the hand of Cesare Casadei.
That decision only forms part of their argument, with a belief that there was also a foul in the build-up to Andy Carroll's equaliser on the stroke of half-time, plus other calls within the game at the SCL Stadium.
The decision to place Ward in charge of the game has also been raised, particularly given he was in the middle for the controversial meeting between the two sides at the MKM Stadium in November.
