I normally agree with you GLP but you must be having us on with this one. Burns is a good commentator but Swann brings him down to his level. Tonight we're seeing the real Burnsie because his analyst is top drawer and completely focused on the game!! What a pleasure to listen to...I can almost picture the game tonight...no pies..pee...boot colours...nights out...etc etc!!

Seems there is an improvement in the performance according to the radio, interesting that Merrington has alluded to the fact that we need to stop changing it so much every game, stating they need to allow the players to get into a rhythm, something which I think the majority of us have already felt is necessary in readiness for the play offs.
No, they have a nice balance between them. They're vital to some folk to listen to games and I simply do not see the need to slag them off constantly. I travel all over the UK and I'm fortunate enough to have listened to a lot of different local radio commentaries. What I will say is be careful what you wish for. You can't please all people all the time, but they are really not as bad as some make out. Some of the conversation during match commentary is almost a welcome distraction.
I didn't like it much after the 1-0 defeat in the early 80's promotion season from Div 4 when the plod herded us down a side street and bottles started raining down on us from some idiots on the walkway over the railway line at the end of the street.

well understand what your saying, as someone who can only listen on tiger player when sometime the stream goes and I have to change to oppositions radio stream
