But Marshall comes in. As experienced as McGregor.
Lichaj, Elphick and Martin all now in. All experienced.
Experienced Kingsley back playing.
Kane and Burke are reasonable additions. As good as last years loanee lads.
We have match winners and pace with Grosicki and Miinkovic. Again both very experienced.
We have striking options with KC, Dicko, Keane and Martin.
The squad is more balanced than last seasons mess.
CM is weak but Nige has much better options than he's using.
Its not a squad to be challenging but its a squad capable of much better than this. And most other clubs we are playing are poor.
Sorry to say but question marks are growing over Nige.
I don't disagree with regards to questions of Adkins. I never wanted him as have always thought he was garbage but he was probably as good as we could have got. But Elphick and Martin don't really care about us as is always the case with most loans and ultimately they know come the end of the season they will be off regardless of our finishing position. Kingsley I don't rate too highly I have to say, and don't start on Grosiki, that man is a lazy self entitled idiot who thinks he's far better then he is. You can be as balanced as you want but ultimately if your not good enough your not good enough

I didn't agree with the fans booing the players at the end
the club got rid of any player on reasonable money who they could get rid of and then only took on people who would play for peanuts
it must be dispiriting for the players to know that the squad just isn't good enough and that it had been planned to be not good enough since the end of last season

I’m a big supporter of Markus Henriksen. But ****ing hell he was ****e today.

Not the only one mind. Kane was also utter toilet.

Last minute replacement.

We’re up against a plethora of City rejects. No time or place for nostalgia. Beat the ****ers into the ground.

Time for Adkins to wise up & stick with 442.

Marshall

Lihaj Jordy Elphick Kingsley

Bowen Henriksen (c) Irvine Kane

Evandro Campbell

I think Martin will be too ****ed after Tuesday but drag him on for Evandro for the last half hour. Get him up to speed.

We’re **** but not as **** as the Berkshire Berks. City, 3 nowt.

Impressive, Sir Ben <applause>

Until this is sorted at the top this will go on and on, it a situation like we are in everybody should be pulling together but instead everyone is pulling in different directions. Has for today of the available players who should have been in central midfield because the two we have just have be two of the worst in the championship. Anyone saying we should be beating these well if the main heartbeat of your team is poor you will always struggle. Atkins knew this that's why he wanted Norwood in but for now he has to find a way or formation to help sort central midfield out. Was it 4,6 or 8 million Slusky spent on Kinsley and Stewart what a waste of money.

I’m still of the view that the Allams have always wanted to get us into a position where it will be so difficult to reconstruct anything successful that even if they do sell the new owners would have a really difficult job for a season or so at least
I think they’d hate anyone following them to be successful so they’re running the whole thing down to a level where the squad is paper thin and difficult to build on and as many of the crowd has ****ed off too so when it does hit the skids they can tell themselves that they were the bestest owners ever

Well done Ehaw...celebrate with a new car why don’t you

Please use it to drive as far away from Hull as possible and don’t come back

This is only what was expected guys.

We have a captain who was atrocious last season yet this season is captain material

We have toral, Irvine and Stewart making up the central midfielders and none of them were deemed good enough last year to regularly play yet this season are starters.

We have lost all the experience in the side
Meyler
McGregor
Dawson
Hernandez
Laarson
To name a few

So there really isn't any point in debating whether we should be beating a team. Last year the team narrowly avoided relegation and now this season are even weaker so there is only one thing coming! League 1 football

Regardless of how **** the content of our team is. There are basics which you apply to each and every game. That applies to the dog and duck in the Sunday pub league and to Man City in the Premier League. Just basics of the game that we seem unable to carry out. These will have been coached into our players long before we got our grubby mitts on them.

Yet still they continue to frustrate in not carrying out the very basics.

It is piss poor.

How many goals have we conceded from corners? Goals where an opponent has simply been left totally unmarked in the area?

Do Sunday leagues even exist nowadays ??
In fact does anybody actually play football anymore ??
Serious question by the way !!

Bang on.

Yep. My lad plays in the Hull and District.
You just don't hear of it anymore .
I read a couple of years ago that the Hull and East riding amateur league and the Humberside league also had completely gone !!
In 1994 the Amateur league had 8 divisions of 12 teams.
The Humberside had 3 divisions.
It's staggering to see they no longer exist.
PS Saturday leagues

We have brought in 'experienced' players who have lots of appearances on their Cvs, but there has been a huge talent drain for years.

We have far less quality than last year in this team. Mcgregor is clearly a huge loss, Hernandez a huge loss, Wilson, Meyer, Larsson and Dawson all huge losses. Not one has been replaced by a better player. Therefore we have gone backwards in terms of quality so how can we expect to be ant better?

We may have more options, but that's about it. It says so much about Grosicki and Milinkovic that Todd Kane who played right back all last year is our left winger.

We have issues all over the place. I think we might stay up as we have Bowen, Irvine and Grosicki who probably have enough match winning moments to keep us up. But let's play all three, play all 3 in their best positions and go for it.

It isn't that long ago that the Hull Sunday League was the largest in the country.
