He needs to find three midfielders to play alongside Irvine, we lose the ball upfront and it's straight at our defence, there's zero cover from the middle.

The scary part is that was oh so evident at Wigan yet Adkins plays the same central pairing .. call it blind loyalty or just plain stupid .. either way its not working .. everyone can see that .. apart from the bloke that makes the decisions.

Surely he can try another formation if he can't change the personnel. At times like this the team just have to dig deep and do anything not to lose.
 
1 shot on target in that first half against a team that last won a Home game in April. We are the gift that keeps on giving.

..... do the alternatives fill you with anymore confidence? Batty is a young kid and injured, he's the only one I have any kind of confidence in - this shambles of a squad is down to Darnborough and the Allam boy, I don't care who coaches us - you can't polish a turd.
