Why are we intrested in Waghorn I dont know alot about the kid, but looking at his scoring record it's hardly out of this world. And why would we want someone who cant get in the Leicester team?

This. I'm not overly struck by his record although I know he can play as a winger or striker but hes not in Leicesters starting 11 so why should we get excited about signing him? He is young and I'm sure he has potential but it looks Leicester paid over the odds for him in the first place and they may well look to re-coup much of that when selling on.

Also, his picture on Wikipedia shows him sitting on the bench ;)... just saying.

Im not getting overly excited by this rumour to be honest. Sure he is 21 but if he was that good surely Leicester would be playing him on a regular basis.

That's very well saying that but if we're buildling for the Prem is Waghorn good enough? Is there any point buying him for the sake of it to sit on our bench?

I'd rather pay for the quality now, have the player gel with the squad for a year or two as opposed to having 'stop gaps' coming and going. Prices are only going to go up.

TBF he was under Pearson and scoring a decent amount of goals. I think he is good enough to be playing but just because he is not a big name, Sven doesn't play him. Also, Jermaine Beckford, Martin Paterson and Gary Hooper weren't the real deal until they moved to Scunthorpe...

Leicester reject isn't necessarily a bad thing with the craziness there. I rate Fryatt higher than Nugent or Vassell for example.

This is copied and pasted straight from SaintsWeb, but thought some of you may appreciate it:

    From LatvianTolix:

"Official Statement from Kaspars Gorkšs I have received to my pm.

He said that his transfer to Saints was almost done, but at the last minute of a deal it has fallen through, due to other defensive options found by NC. He is very upset with the outcome because he has alrady enjoyed few days in the city and the training ground and he has found the appartment already. In addition to that I was in contact with him and promoting the club so much, he was almost there. He added that our Chairman is very interesting and commited person.
Apart from that, he said he is due to sign for another Championship club, so we will see what have we missed out!!!!!"

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And according to Sports Report James Nursey, Reading will sign him tomorrow for £900k.

So whatever is going on, it sounds like we will find out more about any potential movement in the next day or so.

Robbie 'this is my dream' Keane or Samuel 'how do you pronounce that' Eto'o?

I can imagine Robbie soaking up the sun in LA, just like one of those prolonged Spurs injuries, every so often popping up on Sky to remind us he's still alive, but Eto'o, I have more of a problem with. This is a guy who is 30, he's won the lot, he played for the best, but now he has decided to cash in & move to outer no-where for £17M per year, for three years.
Now, I'm not saying that Anzhi Makhachkala is a bad place, but I'm not so sure its the top of the football pinnacle.

My monies on the Robster, I reckon he'll be just fine. What say you?
