The danger is that supporters come to expect massive amounts of money being ploughed into the club year on year. A few fancy-free years and the attitude can change quickly. You only have to look at Man City supporters suddenly expecting massive names and more zero's on the end of massive salaries to see my point. I remember City in League One! Im not begrudging them one little bit of the success they will inevitably have but if those in power get bored with football then what happens?
