I don't know how everyone else is doing but I'm in a ****ing state cos I hate listening to games on the radio!!!
For me we could do with at least 3 goals.
At 0-0 I panic that we're going to fall behind.
At 1-0 I panic that they are going to equalise.
At 2-0 I panic that they are going to score and get back into the game.
At 3-0 I can relax a little, but then I panic that they will score and then I will need to start panicking again!!
Its the joys (or not) of being a Toon fan
I remember in the 90s listening to the radio biting my nails when we had all those star players on the pitch, when you have general ****e on the pitch I'm now not as worried, strange I know!
Hah, you're lucky. I need 5 goals to us before I settle ever since I started listening after half time to us away to QPR in 1984 and we were 4-0 up.
