Running a bus trip to Reading, looking to stop in Newbury on the way up. Can anyone recommend a decent pub to stop in the Newbury area that is "Cardiff Friendly"?

The Blackbird in Bagnor is a decent pub, just off the A34, good access and have been there a few times but not as a footie fan, i am sure its a free house so would be glad of the custom, give em a ring they should be fine.
