I'll be there again with my Sussex wife (and also with our unborn future tiger, it will be his/her first match).

Last year she was the one who started the "Who are ya?" chant immediately after we scored (i'm still jealous yet proud that she started a chant off).

    Hope we win this time......

Must win games = needless pressure on the players.

I didn't expect us to be up here at this stage anyway, so i'm just enjoying the ride.

Going by train and straight into the Pub next door, bus just up the road to the manki stadium.
Funny enough back up on Monday for business!

The match will be a real test. So I am sure to enjoy it whatever the result.

There are plenty of car parks around the area, including at the Majedski itself - though I am sure they charge a fair few quid.

Where are the best places to park?

Last time we parked a 25 minute walk away at a pub a mate recommended (good food and beer).

This time we don't want a walk. So any advice?

Any parking reccomendations that DON'T involve those overcrowded car parks near the ground would be nice. Last year we got stuck for bloody ages and I've got matters to return to at night, so I'd rather have a nice walk and avoid queing for an hour or so.

Hoping for a city win but would take a draw possibly. As the table stand this is a must win game for me, but I think we're really **** and not playing too great at present, so a draw would be a good return.

Last season we parked down Hartland Road (postcode RG2 8AB). About a 1/2 mile walk from the ground, free to park and you're straight on the road to the M4 (although last season, that was busy getting to, but probably faster than the car-parks!)

They have a massive car park behind the members only car park and there is alot of off site parking around the ground. As long as you are there before 2pm you should have no problems at all. After the game i tend to have eats and a drink and allow the traffic to go and then its an easy exit and drive home. Plenty of time as MOTD does not start til after 10pm anyway. Listen to 606 on five live which is always a good laugh.

I don't expect this to be an easy game, I fancy Fryatt to hush his critics with a Pearson-esque 1-0 victory for the Barmby army!

It isn't the easiest ground to get away from - Reading is a very busy town and the roads stack up quite easily - you could always try the car park at the Holiday Inn, that should be fairly easy to get away from but then again it is a 15 minute walk from the stadium.

Last time we went (This was when we lost 3-1 in their promotion season mind), there where tons of little car parks dotted all around the place, parked in one of them for a couple quid and took five minutes to get out of it.
