I was excited when I saw Paterson starting, but in the end I wish he hadn't. He was slow over the ground and lost his man so many times he was a liablity. Never thought I'd say that about him and hopefully I never will again.

If there was one thing that Paterson didn't do wrong it was foul that Reading guy that got Warnock sent to the stands for ranting about. I know I complain about other fans blaming referees, but the collection of officials controlling this game got so many obvious decisions wrong. That's not sour grapes and even neutrals should be able to agree with that.

Otherwise the rest of the side were immense but WTF was Bogle playing on the right wing for? Couldn't understand that with the pace of both Hoilett and Mendez available out wide.

Huge point in the end and we should have had all three if there were any justice. Let's be honest, playerwise we are on our arses through injury and apart from Tomlin and Peltier, that subs bench looked bloody bleak to me. I just hope Morro can shake off that groin strain ready for next weekend.

I know our kit change to red was rather emotive, but I'd rather that than the bloody green.

It doesn’t matter how many times you hammer the woodwork, it still doesn’t count as a goal!
You still need to turn luck into goals - maybe we have been lucky a few times - God knows we are overdue -maybe it’s karma from all the BAD luck we have had over the past 35 years?!!!

The officials were appalling and should have their pay withdrawn. Couldn't believe it when Peltier drove a free kick against their player as he hadn't withdrawn 10 yards. It went into touch and they were given the throw. It was eventually reversed but with that and other ridiculous decisions it is no wonder Colin went ape sh1t. The ref didn't want to give Tomlin's goal ffs. Thank God for goal line technology.

We have endured Mr. Martin twice before this season v Pompey in the Carabao and v Millwall. He was crap then and only got worse. He should have been sent to the stands. Not Colin. Grrrr!!

Mind you he should have sent Morro off v Millwall but then should have given us a pen at the death for a foul on Morro who of course shouldn’t have been on the pitch.<doh>

I thought the linesmen were also abysmal. Offside off a Reading header? Corners & throw ins going the wrong way?:headbang:

We’ve had some right Charlie’s this season. The number of penalties not given mount up & even when we get given one the ref ignores a headed goal by Bamba:steam:

Agreed on the linesmen Nin. Particularly the one on the right of the pitch as we watched from our end. He couldn't make a decision without looking at the ref first and then they both got it wrong. <doh>
