Let's all get a vote on independence - than make sure we claim all the North sea oil and vote them out of the UK, EU and Nato and charge a fortune for them to get access to the BBC. Then see what a great and glorious land they have got in 10 years time.
Not sure how many of the hairy sweaty Scots lasses I would want to "Noctra" with. SuBo anyone? I vote for Chazz to open the batting if she's in line!
**** off, you can keep them down there. We've got this East coast nicely tied down as an English colony. We get better weather when the West coast does, and due to having settled here we enjoy all the benefits of free university places and prescriptions that the natives do, along with an economy that's outperforming the rest of the UK in its recovery. You're not going and sending them back so they can win an independence referendum and **** everything up.
What's all this about Shetland wantng to keep the oil and may go Independent itself? Or is this just tabloid bollocks from down south to get at Salmond?
Anything which is anti-Salmond is having a go at Salmond, that is in Salmond's eyes the truth - as everyone in Scotland wants Independence and there is no issues with Scotland becoming a member of the EU (no matter what the EU legal boffins say), and all North Sea oil is automatically Scotland's as is probably the wind in the North Sea as well, and not forgetting tidal power as well etc, etc Scotland is a marvellous country says Mr Salmond - so why are there more Scottish people living elsewhere in the world rather than Scotland. And to get back to the topic, does it matter for Celtic if Hooper leaves, they'll just find another striker in the English 1st division to replace him, as no world class strikers would go within 50 miles of a Scottish football club.
I've just a tin of Baxters pea and ham soup for my Yule Brynner. That'll stop when the sweaties gain independence. As will purchasing of Scotch whiskey and shortbread. Together we can bring the unwashed heathens to their knees!!! Who's with me?
I'm with you brother-in-arms. They can **** off if they think I'll be drinking any more Irn Bru an all
To be fair, does anyone think Aluko would have come to us if Rangers hadn't been ****ed up? CL is still something huge in football.
No, but we were only a Championship side then. We're talking about a PL side vs an SPL side with Champions League football, so you're offsetting the playing in a much bigger league against the lack of CL football. As a seperate point though, when was the last time the Old Firm had a player in the England squad (which is Hooper's aim surely), compared to bottom half Premier League sides?
