We stopped way short of what was needed for early safety imo. We'll be in the mix no doubt in my mind but I think we'll stay up. Long way of worrying. I'm still running on a match by match bases.

Our squad is way better than last year, despite some deficiencies, so we should scrape it.

LB, CB, Midfield the holes to fill.

    LB say no more.
Can Rodders be converted to CB? If not, get someone in.
When Catts is out, none of Gomez, Rodders or Larsson are up to the task of playing alongside Yann - pretty obvious on Saturday. But Catts needs competition and we'd be ****ed if Yann was out for any time.

A front 4 from a choice of AJ, Lens, Borini, Watmore, Defoe, Ola and Fletch should be good enough to bag goals.

Bridcutt, Brown, Buckley, Giacc, Roberge, Mavrias, Vergini, Graham, Gomez, Vito to be gone at the end of the season (hopefully January coz someone is desperate). Add Fletch to the list, or short-term contract to keep him on his toes. That's another ten 'bad signings' out the door. ****ing crazy waste of money but a chance to re-build with promising youth players, and a few quality signings, whichever the division.

I've said all season we will finish 15th, not altered that stance since SA arrived, he has been very close to having us at least three more points, WBA we were mugged, with a bit more care at 2-2 we could have done a lot better at Everton (I know that's hard to swallow after we imploded in 7 minutes, but even the biased media thought we would go on to get a result) and Saturdays loss to the Saints was hard to take, it was only one rash challenge from getting a good result against a really good team.
Sam is improving us defensively and with JOS and Catts hopefully back after the international break I think despite our tough run of fixtures to come we will start to pick up points on a fairly regular basis and as we are not cut adrift from the rest of the league we can be out of the bottom three before the January window opens. Onwards and upwards.
