it's alright mate, I wasn't having a go just sometimes it's hard to read text and understand the way in which the poster has expressed what they mean. Both of us clearly misunderstood one another just then. so does this not show how mad it would before us to get rid of AVB and make the comments of some look ridiculous? Even with all the money they have and are willing to spend, to me, it proves that this means nothing if managers aren't given a fair chance, or time.
Well your right Roo...the smokescreen that was AVB for RDM would only last so long and truth is all this ranting about AVB did not fool Abramovich. He is well aware that AVB left them in 4th. RDM finished in 6th. And this season RDM has almost made Chelsea the first holders to be knocked out in the group stages. Yet the Chelsea fans were saying AVB was the root of all evil. Agent Abramovich thinks otherwise it seems.
It's a disgrace. Don't think any Chelsea fan could deny that. Although I am not surprised. It was clear RDM was never Roman's man. I wouldn't go as far as CP, but I will say if Grant or Benitez come in, I won't give Chelsea another penny.
What stats are those? Just last season? RDM has played 12 league games this season alone, and Chelsea are currently 3rd which is surely a more fair reflection of him in the league.
This attempt to try and make AVB look good is laughable. RDM had to play City, Arsenal and Liverpool all away whilst juggling the Champions League and FA Cup. AVB lost the winnable games we had i.e Villa at home, Fulham at home, Norwich away, WBA away.
The Club World championship thingy? I wouldn't count on it. Besides enjoying supporting your club is about more than winning trophies and I'm glad my club isn't run by a fickle Russian using it as his plaything to pass a bit of time.
No one is trying to make him look good, DL. most of us are just remaining open minded over AVB. Just like you say with RDM and tough fixtures, we have also played all of last years top 6 (other than you guys) away from home, as well as a European campaign we're also taking seriously. - so the same goes for us this season. Neither sacking was justified, for various reasons. Most of us aren't trying to make AVB look good, we're just being level headed with all things considered and not letting him look bad just yet - especially in light of what's just happened to RDM as well. we can't let history at chelsea get in the way. no offence, but based on the managerial sackings over the last 8 years, it's pointless us doing so. well, it means nothing to me, anyway.
Actually it's not. Last season they both had the same players. If AVB had Hazard and Oscar he may have done a better job.
Good reply SD, I wonder if DL took that into account writing Post31. I think he's also forgot Drogba Terry and Lampard picked the sides for RDM too!
So is West Brom away now Chelsea's biggest game of the season? Roman seems to think so and has sacked 2 managers off the back of not winning there.
