I certainly was there......and there was a lot of arial balls played above our midfield's heads....in the first half especially including the excellent ball from Charlie Adam for your first goal. As the wind was against you it caused a fair amount of problems for both you and us. We on the other hand tried to use the wind to our advantage but we are just not used to playing that way and played straight into your hands.
I wouldn't argue that we deserved more than a draw. In the second half we kept the ball down an awful lot more and played to our strengths, where as in the first half I thought honours were even. Even the statistics prove that.........

I agree with you on your second paragraph but not the first, I guess we will have to agree to disagree, good luck for the rest of the season

I would agree that Stoke edged the first half, they certainly stopped us playing our normal game and gave themselves a much better chance than most other teams to come to St Marys. I don't think they threatened too much, and we had our fair share of first half chances as well. However, in the second half we completely dominated Stoke - they didn't even have an attempt on goal in the second half, and on this basis I would say that a draw was not a fair result as over the full game we had so much more of the play and the chances.

That ball went between Cork and Schneiderlin (and then Fonte and Yoshida), not over their heads.

Well I would certainly agree that the weather was a 0. Did those in the Itchen get a little damp? Can't believe how suddenly that started. Mark Hughes has to get a solid 8. We cannot win every game as Fran says. It's a point. Opposition team, tactics and weather made this unlikely to be a classic. One thing I can't get is angry about about it. How many own goals have we scored this season compared to last?
Also, how ironic that our second go came from a pass that went into the net past a despairing keeper most unexpectedly. Talk about Karma!!!
