  1. Premiership Class. One of our key players last season and next

  2. Potential. Excelled last season in the CCC, but could find the step up a challenge.

  3. Squad. Did enough in the CCC to secure a berth in the squad, but will only warm the bench.

  4. Did OK against Leeds and Donny;the prospect of Man City and Arsenal is too scary to contemplate.

  5. Didn't contribute enough last season - certainly shouldn't be on the bus this year.

1 - No doubt about it, he will be our most important player in the PL as consistency is vital in his position.

1 - think we're gonna rely heavily on his workrate in midfield alongside Derry - good distribution too - a true PL quality player, with plenty more of maturing left in him - could end up a real superstar, and a bargain at whatever price we paid for him!

His passing and reading of the game is top quality, i worry about lack of pace in the middle needs someone to do the leg work next to him, very creative.

No-one's mentioned his supershot yet, or his brilliant free-kicks. OK, he's never scored a free-kick, but I've only seen him take 2 free-kicks all year. The one against Coventry, I still wonder how that didn't go in, and the one against Hull, a brilliant save from the keeper.
