Chester - In a different league to the others, doubt any of the others have his range of passing or could do what he does to Brady week in, week out. Hobbs - I think he isn't as good as last year, think he needs a pre-season. Faye - I think in pure terms of talent he is better than Hobbs, issue is his fitness. Bruce - I don't rate him that highly but if he could pass he would be a lot better. Mcshane - His positioning is still awful, but its just not as bad as it was, you don't win awards for most improved. The gap between the top three and the last two is huge.
I once won a runners up trophy in a karting race in Essex. I only won, because the bloke in front of me snapped his chain and everyone else was ****. But I still won.
I won musical statues as a kid, was chuffed.. Then. Again i've won 2 spls and a uefa cup runners up medal
I've just remembered, I actually won a poster competition in the HDM in about 1972. It was a road safety campaign, I can't actually remember what was in my picture, but I bet it was good.
Bradley might be (is) a bit of an idiot but I'm quite looking forward to seeing him back at the club, he seems to be doing pretty well for Aldershot from the little that I've seen. Cooper will be one that bites us on the arse for letting him go, I've no doubts about it.
Chester has the edge for me, simply because he is so difficult for players to get past. Hobbs clears up well Faye has all the experience but sometimes goes missing Bruce puts in a shift every game, it's a pity he gets hurt so much McShane is always a worry for me. But I love being proved wrong.
Chester McShane Hobbs Faye Bruce Oh, and on the subject of winning awards, not meaning to brag, but I've won the World Cup, Euros and Champions League...
Chester Faye Hobbs/ MShane Bruce I've won lot's of medals with my Birmingham Rollers. (I used to breed my pigeons - then I found out they could do it on their own).
True, but he's a long way behind the others as a player, he looks so uncomfortable with the ball at his feet, it's just a hack forward every time, or he gets rid of it as quick as he can.
I agree with that but as I said to OLM, he just doesn't make mistakes. As a defender he does the bare minimum really well. McShane might try and do a bit more than that, but his actual defending isn't as good as Bruce, or any of the others.
Chezzy Hobbs Bruce Faye and Macca for me - probably Faye second if he was a few years younger and somewhat more mobile than he is now. Chezzy and Hobbs for obvious reasons - Bruce because hes pretty solid and a good talker.
