Went to a Rangers game at ibrox with a scottish work mate a while back, can honestly say never seen so many police in my life at a game, when the rangers fans couldn't get at the opposition fans, they started kicking **** out of each other, my lasting memory was of a 10 year old lad who was sat with his parents in the row in front of me, jumping up and screaming at a Hibs player " i hope you die of aids you fenian bastard" i sat there fully expecting some sort of reprimand from his parents, what happened they jump up and joined in the abuse at this point i realised i had entered a parallel universe .
I had a similar experience at a Rangers game. Was amazed at the intensity of hatred spewed out by such young folk with parents just looking on.
Particularly amusing (?) was after the game on the big car park diagonally across the road and opposite the ground. Volumes of beer cans and bottles lying about soon became missiles between several groups of Rangers fans who got involved in an almighty scrap because one of them had taken a piss by a tree which a lass from another group had seen and taken offence at. Coppers pretty much just played a waiting game, nicking a couple of lads on the fringe of it.
Haven't been to a Celtic game, so can't compare what they do, probably just as bad. But once went on a mini pre - season 'tour' of Glasgow with a local football team to play a couple of friendlies. First game no problem. Second game against predominantly Celtic supporters was a ****ing nightmare. Even though 2 of our team were related to players in their team made no difference. The 'crowd' on the touchline was also 'entertaining'. Ref only played about 30 mins of 2nd half which was a relief for our lot. **** the sarnies and chips on offer after the match at their local.
Any calls for either of the ****s to join ANY English league should be denied on this basis alone.
It should be denied anyway because they're not English

The Rangers supporters I served with in the Army weren't pro English, far from it.
I fully agree, there is no difference which team they support they hate the English, it's a national sport.
I've worked amongst them for 15 years and didn't find that if they took the piss out of Rangers they were pro Celtic. It was more religious based if you were Catholic you hated Rangers, Hearts or any other team that was largely of their religious persuasion. Hib's supports hate Celtic supporters as much as they do Rangers, probably more so.
You can't really blame the Scottish people for hating us. All these years hating us and we're not even interested, we just seem indifferent. It must be very frustrating.

What are you on about? I wasn't being a twat at all. You were complaining about those being 'punished' getting the better end of the stick and I merely pointed out there's nothing stopping you from moving there.
