I fully agree they should have sold some earlier but they do still have saleable assets. Aribo will sell, Kent will sell and Hagi, to a lesser extent, will sell even with a year left. They will get far more for all than they've spent. You can't possibly say he is irreplaceable when you say the person he can't get in the squad because of is only a set piece taker and useless. The facts are Rangers do need to establish selling and selling such a huge potential as Patterson will not only return initaially but extra millions on future sales. They chose not to in order to give them the greatest opportunity at CL group stage money guarenteed and that seems to be working at 6 points clear. The Patterson deal with help establish sales long after this current crop.
