So you think that everything that's happened since last Wednesday has been above board and ticketyboo. No lying, no coercion, no ****piggery?

    Ok then.

Naw. There should be an independent enquiry because the SPFL board possibly lied to it's member clubs. Was negligent in it's corporate responsibility, coerced clubs into voting for a resolution without giving them all relevant factual information so they could make a fair and informed decision. And all that's before the actual voting debacle with Dundee.

It's got fùck all to do with Rangers throwing a strop. You and your team, finally got the result you wanted so all the rest should be ignored?

There in lies the problem with Scottish football right there.

The Falkirk chairman was on Clyde phone in tonight and was scathing about what's been going on. He, like most others are resigned to the fact that shìthousery is the norm in Scottish football and just wants to get on with it.

    Shame really.

I think there will have been plenty of manoeuvring, lobbying, argument, pressure etc. I don't think there is the remotest chance of any inquiry unearthing anything illegal.
Particularly as Dundee have already stated no one offered them any " deal" to influence their vote.

But I return to the point. Anyone who disagrees with an inquiry's outcome will simply not accept it was independent.

Not often I take Rangers side but I do think there needs to be an independent enquiry. Just because I don't and never have felt that this board is anything but a joke. The bull **** that it was a 5pm deadline when it wasn't, the announcing who all had voted for what 27.5 days before it should have been, the post vote and the public squabbling with one of their senior clubs in public. It's a joke and an embarrasment and needs calling out for the sake of our game.

And my gripe (legally) isn't with Dundee who may be ****s but haven't done anything wrong. It's purely with the ****s that run our game being about as much use as Mindy at a MENSA meeting.

The whole Dundee “missing vote” needs looked into. Are we to believe its just pure coincidence that this vote, a vote that would be enough to reject the proposal, just happens to go missing? Too much of a coincidence for me I'm afraid.

It seems the SPFL also lied to clubs about this proposal being the only way to release much needed funds, forcing clubs hands into accepting.

Why were results released before all clubs had voted? It put Dundee in the position of knowing they had the deciding vote and in a position of power.

Could be nothing in this but something I've been thinking about. Why were Leagues 1 and 2 grouped together for the vote? Three League 1 clubs rejected the proposal, which if they stood alone would've been enough for it to fail. A cynic would maybe say the SPFL knew League 1 could be a problem so grouped them with the much more cooperative League 2.

That's just for starters, much more could come out of it.

They were grouped together for exactly the reason you highlighted. The SPFL knew they wouldn't get it passed. The monies released to the lower league clubs is a pittance. The Brechin chairman said they were in line to get £3700. Hardly life saving amounts for those clubs.

I know mate I just can't get up to caring about it. There won't be any type of enquiry though. The Yank at Dundee was clearly up for a deal, they always are.

We’ll need an independent inquiry into that.

One must presume Rangers will refuse the £2.4m prize money when offered?
