    It does matter though, I imagine they will be able to hid behind legal loopholes etc and says its all above board but the fact remains that whether its allowed or not it doesn't look good.

    The SPFL tried to rush through this vote with the 5pm Friday “request”. If clubs had 28 days to vote then why the rush? If clubs voted no and still had 28 days to change vote then we would be no further forward anyway, we would need to wait 28 days regardless for a definitive result. Maybe they thought they had it in the bag and could get things done and dusted quickly until Dundee threw a spanner in the works.

    If Rangers have the evidence they say they do, and I'm saying IF, then I don't think they will look silly at all. If anything this last few days has shown the SPFL to be incompetent at best, a simple vote has turned into another drama. I wouldn't be banking on them to have their house in order thats for sure.

    The SPFL tried to "unduly influence the outcome of the vote" by insisting their resolution had to be passed in order to release funds to clubs, says Hearts chair Ann Budge.
