Did that Ref not send off a Motherwell player to gift Celtic the league cup?

Asking for a friend.

Scottish Football in a nutshell.

He pushed an opposition player, then the opposition player reacts (barely) and Thompson can’t wait to get the red out.

To make it more farcical it’s the same player who got away scot free with crippling Ryan Jack.

Scottish football, a farce of a set up, tailored to suit one team and one team only.
He also booked a player a couple of weeks ago he saw deliberately punching Bates in the baws.

DEREK MCINNES reckons Scott Brown ‘goaded’ contact from Cedric Kipre as the Motherwell defender seen red.

The French stopper was sent off after he appeared to kick out at the Celtic skipper following a coming together in the middle of the park.
But the Aberdeen boss insists that the challenge never warranted a red card from referee Craig Thomson. He told Sky Sports: “Brown has goaded contact and there’s certainly not enough contact there. “It’s certainly not a stamp which is what Craig Thomson has indicated.

“The initial challenge is there and that’s fine, it’s a competitive game, a little push and there’s not enough there for a red card. “I can only think the referee thinks there is more in it. “You see him indicating a stamp, but we can all see it isn’t a stamp and I think Brown has almost encouraged some sort of reaction there.

New laws need to be introduced whereby a player cannot be sent off if he's "goaded", or "encouraged to react" even if he "appears to kick out"

Didn't see it. Did Kipre deliberately kick out at Brown then? Is that why Thompson sent him off?

Makes you wonder why he would just book a player who delibrately punched a Rangers player so it does.
