Seems like a recurring theme; big decisions incorrectly going against Rangers on refwatch

 

Arsenal had an amateurish, terrible decision at weekend as well .

2nd in a week involving arsenal . 3rd overall (recently) ..

And that’s with full time professional refs .

 

People thought var would bring an end to wrong decisions, but if anything it just blurs the lines even more with certain decisions. Its good for things like offsides, especially the automated one they use for the CL, decisions made very quickly, but with the more subjective decisions its still the same incompetent refs operating var and making the decisions.

I don’t even know who was on var yesterday, but they obviously saw a reason to ask Walsh to the monitor, and for me its just pure stubbornness and him being unwilling to go back on his original decision as it makes him look weak and clueless

 

Refs need to be held accountable and have bonuses removed for poor performance .

Where any decision that has been found to be incorrect (after review) , then the refs are hit in pocket through full demotion for a week of scheduled matches and loss of bonuses .

When it a clear and obvious error , the ref needs their on field decision revoked via comms. Monitor reviews only for split / marginal decisions .

Mid week, VAR review decisions where put up in big screen and announced as to why the decision was made. This needs to be for all matches .

Refs should also be interviewed post match (in press conferences)
