I keep seeing this "west Brit" patter on Twitter. Mainly from mad plastic Paddies.

What's a West Brit?
Historically it would go back to the Act of Union time and later years usually used for landlords, MPs, Lords etc who lived in Ireland or spent time here, the landed gentry if you like.

Nothing wrong with being a home made soup taker.

I love home made soup and if I'm right there has never been a thread on here devoted to home made soup. I may have to start one.
