Who is Wanyama? Who is Bangura? Are they no better than Loovens and Samaras? Then why buy them? Wasted the transfer window.....again Any team with 2 six fosters up front will dominate us
Haven't really digested it, but we were 2nd best. I don't really understand why we have to change things to play the Huns. Hooper and Samaras are 2 strikers, not a partnership. That is obvious.
Celtic's normal tactics or style of play might be fine against diddy teams. Seems when they meet Scotlands #1 or any team in Europe they get shown how it's actually meant to be done.
Orly Of the 7 games Celtic played them last season How many times did them beat Celtic? Maybe you can' count.
Our normal style of play should be good enough to beat you more often than not. Tinkering is great if it pays off, but when it doesn't, then we have to ask why do we change it. You aren't that good, and it says a lot for us that we look worse.
This is what makes the difference between Celtic and Rangers. You judge yourselves against us. We judge ourselves based on how many trophies we win. How many did you win last year? Or the year before that...Or even the year before that? I couldn't imagine being a Celtic fan. Always having that knowledge you're just not quite the best team around. I'll judge it just on my lifetime. Since I've been alive Celtic have won 23 trophies. Rangers? 40. There is a gulf between us.
If Lennon persists in playing Hooper and Samaras up front in these type of games then he's just cutting off his nose to spite his face because it is obvious to every one else that it does not work. The defence was shocking today but, to be honest, it's the back four I would have picked too. The midfield never really got into the game and in hindsight (always a wonderful thing) I suspect we should have started with Forrest who would have carried much more of a threat going forward. Lennon needs to stop worrying about which team is best to stop Rangers and concentrate on which is the best team to win. He keeps picking Samaras on the strength of ONE good performance against them. Poor Stokes gets dropped nearly every time he goes a game without scoring. All in all we played ****e this afternoon. All the things we predicted before the match such as starting with Sammy and Rangers throwing balls into our box from all angles came to fruition and we were deservedly beaten. But there's still a long way to go and both teams will struggle at points throughout the season.
Think you're saying this in hope rather than expectation, Rangers dropped points on the first day of the season and since then haven't looked like dropping points and winning games at a canter. Can the same be said for Celtic? The only team that looks like they'll struggle is Celtic, I'm not saying Rangers will go the whole season unbeaten cos there will be the odd slip up but Celtic will need more than the odd slip up from Rangers to take this league away from them There also seems to be this myth that Celtic have a better team and better all round players than Rangers, what is this based on? What have Celtic got to show for having all these brilliant players? The longer Celtic continue to underestimate Rangers the better it is for Rangers
Absolutely spot on. So simply put, but it sums up our mentality. We don't really give a **** about MOPESVILLE, we just crack on and rack up the silver
