got to agree with tarquin here - even if you bounce up 3 times in quick succession its going to take 5 years to be competitive in the spl again - its not like top scottish players are going to play in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd no matter who the team is
Losing the Hun's is definitely not great for the SPL as a competitive league and may have knock-on's for TV revenues and attendances for all of the other clubs and we all need our own pantmine villains to rip into. However not punishing a club for, and let's not mince our words, ripping off everyone from the local plasterers to HMRC (indirectly costing every taxpayer through illegal tax evasion) and buying their success on other peoples money would be a disgrace and set a laughable example. If it were any other club (bar Celtic) there would not even be a debate. Shuts the doors, strip the assets and start again in the Highland League. I doubt that New Hun's will suffer this indignity as the self-interest of the rest of the SPL will prevent it but we shall see.
You'd think but the webbing makes it a bit tricky. Still better the extra fingers than a room temperature IQ.....
Aye but the censure is going to be for at least 3 years is it not? Youll have less money, points deductions for tem 3 years as well as no Europe. So either way you'll be punished. Least starting at the bottom you could and scottish football could hold their heads high? Well not held as low
Div 3 would be fairest. If Rangers do not face any real sanctions after they have walked away debt free then the game is a bogey. If clubs say they will go out of business if Rangers are relegated then those teams have no right nor need to exist because all they are is parasites, all they are doing is making up the numbers, we have 40 professional (sic) clubs in Scotland, maybe we need to downsize and cast adrift the dead wood. This could be a blessing in disguise for Scottish football, if clubs go to the wall because Rangers are relegated (and rightly so in my opinion) then so be it, goodbye, you added nothing of value to the Scottish Game, you will not be missed.
What is all this stuff about "dropping" to the third division? how can something that has never been raised up be dropped? They can apply for the share of the defunct club. But then the defunct club has no business in the top division anyway. If they had survived, they should have been ****ed out.... But they didnt..... They died.
The Huns on Rangers media think Walter Smith is going to buy Rangers today , this saga gets more stupid by the day .
No, i've heard his name before, it was you who mentioned it, so to be accurate we heard it here first and second.
