RST Board Statement

The RST is angered at the suggestion Rangers should be stripped of nine trophies won since 2000. This is a ludicrous suggestion from discredited individuals in two governing bodies whose behaviour has brought Scottish football to the brink of collapse due to their lack of competence.

Not content with Rangers’ relegation to the third division and the loss of the vast majority of our first team pool, these vindictive and sinister individuals wish to hamstring the club further by imposing an effective ban on new signings.

The pomposity of suggesting that a kangaroo court impose penalties for alleged breaches of the operation of EBTs whilst three judges continue to consider the case in a tax tribunal is staggering.

The recently leaked wish-list of sanctions strains the credulity of any sentient human being that such juvenile mind-games are being played at this time of crisis for the whole Scottish game.

The RST urges the Board of Rangers Football Club to remain resolute and refuse to consider such ludicrous and vindictive sanctions. The club and fans have suffered enough and do not deserve and will not accept additional punishments for the crimes or omissions of others imposed by bodies whose own credibility is in tatters.

Our manager has been inspirational in leading the club over the last five months and we urge all to follow his example in refusing to consider sanctions which impinge on sporting endeavour and fairness.

if rangers are dead then why are the bigots still living on the rangers board complaining about sevco not being punished enough yet?

surely sevco haven't done anything to upset any of you apart from the usual crime in scotland of not being "celtic minded"
 
im confused - do rangers fans LIKE the trust now or are they still bomber supporting, money thieving, power hungry bawbags?

The EBT's have got **** all to do with anything. That was an argument between Rangers and HMRC.

The dual contracts, however, is a very real issue. That would be in breach of association rules. Breaking the rules cannot be seen as anything other than cheating.

It's entrirely possible, even probable, we will have titles stripped should it be proven. Deal with it.

Rangers were not relegated. They were liquidated.

Sevco were given preferential treatment and allowed to apply for Rangers position in SPL

They were then given a position in Div 3 even though they had less right than Spartans for example, who have 3 years accounts to qualify, instead they are trying to transfer Rangers membership to Sevco

This is dependant on Sevco being given Rangers license by the SFA

As Sevco are jumping the line, a 3 year wait for them to play in Div 3 due to the above, they are being forced to pay for their entry by the SFA

Sevco have not been punished for anything by the SFA

They have been given a hand up and show no gratitude

I might not like this new team....their attitude is wrong

It's simple really. Dual contracts are against the rules. Nothing more needs to be said than that.
